If you're reading this blog I assume that you own one of the three major consoles. The Wii the PS3 and the Xbox 360. They all have a feature where you get to play online against people who have the game and the console. I have played games on all of these networks. First Nintendo Networks the online for the wii and the ds. It is free and easy to set up all you need is the password for your wireless home network and the system does the rest. Playstation Networks is FREE and you get the same features as xbox live for FREE. You get a shop and to play games against other members. Which brings me to xbox live. xbox live is the microsoft based network to play against xbox live members. The problem here is unlike the other two networks to access the full features you have to pay money to microsoft. On top of that there is nothing better about it than Playstation Networks. It is just yet another Microsoft scam. In my opinion Playstation Networks is the best and if you were considering buying a PS3 but were hesitant because you weren't sure about Playstaion Networks being good then you should go to the store right now and buy one because they're awesome.

Nintendo DS and Wii

I liked the Nintendo DS and the Wii. At first they were both really innovative and enjoyable. However for each of these consoles I noticed something I didn't really like. Due to their innovative features like the touch screens or the motion sensors these systems are very fun but because every game has to include these features sometimes the controls get akward and difficult to remember. On the DS you have to touch things and hit buttons at the same time and the two screens can present a bit too much information too handle. On the Wii you have to shake the controller and hit buttons to do simple things. The button and motion combinations can sometimes get so long it is hard to remember. These consoles were fun but do to their complex control schemes as a result of their innovations I didn't like these consoles nearly as much as the Gamecube or the Gameboy Advance.

Hello

hello this is my blog. I am DK the author of this blog. I will discuss what I think of video games, gaming consoles and everything else. This is not a professional sight and I'm not going to play all the games there are to play and then write reviews. I'm not an intense gamer I'm just casual and I would just like to put a casual gamer's perspective on the internet so people can see my point of view
